7,6:On the nose, eucalyptus, slightly medicinal, toasted wood notes like caramel, spicy, a bit alcoholic, apple and pear, bump into our nosetrils. On aeration, citrus and red fruits arise, pastry, allspice, slight smokiness. 7,7:On the palate, the attack is fresh with eucalyptus, flowery, sweet with honey, fruity with apple, raspberry, cherry hints and citrus fruits, slightly alcoholic, as the wood is toasted with caramel, pastry, spicy with allspice, anise, salty. 7,4:The finish is rather disappointing, medium long, dry&tannic, with smoky toasted oak notes like caramel, leather, spicy with allspice, fruits like dried, citrus.

Un rhum sélectionné par le Rhum Club Paris puis vieilli en petit fût sur une barge. L'histoire est sympa mais le résultat décevant. Plutôt fruité et épicé au nez, la bouche se révèle plus boisée. Une cerise bien mure, du piment, de l'eucalyptus. C'est sympa mais sans grand relief et avec un alcool trop mordant. Cela dit, la bouteille s'améliore en s'aérant.

Un très beau nez sur la cerise, des fruits du verger (poire notamment), un très léger caramel beurré et un côté eucalyptus / menthol lointain. En bouche on retrouve ces mêmes marqueurs, incluant l’anis. Malheureusement l’alcool n’est pas super bien intégré et ce côté pimenté vient râper la bouche… qui n’est pas à la hauteur du nez :(
