19.07.2025 Retasting at the Nordlichter Treffen. ----------------- #5436 28.06.2025 Bottle birth. Nose Floral, sugarcane, olive, faint mint, grapes, light citrus, light polish. Palate Light, naturally sweet, fruity, balanced, light olive, faint salt, light floral, light grass. Finish Medium long, round, sweet, faint caramel, light floral, faint olive, faint smoke. Empty glass Light tannins, light grass, light citrus, faint herbal, faint mint. ABV stings a little even after resting for a while, but in general a pretty ok release.

Also mir gefällt dieser Agricole.

Agricole rums for a change. On the nose: Sugarcane juice dominates with hints of floral and olive notes. After sitting in the glass you get more vegetal, agricole notes. Taste: Heavy on olives, salty, sweetness from the sugarcane, vegetal. Mouthfeel is kind of roasted. Overall its quite balanced. High abv is integrated very well in this rum. Finish: Herbal, citrus and minty notes. I could recognice the La Favorite profile in this rum. For me, the taste profile was quite bland and so this rum didn't really work for me

A mid-aged Agricole from La Favorite, completely continental but with a solid %%. Nose: The alcohol is manageable, sweetly vegetal and floral with a mineral note that reminds me a bit of chalk. Honeydew melon and pickled artichoke at opposite ends, plus pumpkin, fennel, and chamomile. Sweetened chamomile and sweet, fermented plant juice. It all sounds kind of underwhelming, but it’s anything but unpleasant, even rather interesting. 7.8 Palate: Herbs, vegetal, green and floral, but also slightly sweet. Thyme, basil, and fennel dominate, starting salty, followed by nutmeg and ending with caraway. A hint of geranium with a touch of anise at the back. Not bad at all, but not a relaxed pour either. 7.6

Nordlichter Treffen Juli 2025 Schöner, pfeffriger Agricole. Nicht schlecht.
Review by Dr.Django

Erinnert etwas an nicht-rauchigen Mezcal.

Nice aged Agricole profile. Enjoyable but no very standout features to this one.
