Beautiful Bellevue beautiful citrus and honey notes. Very drinkable and slightly smoky, reminiscent of whisky. Also some cherry, black tea, kumquat and leather saddle with black pepper and generally very balanced and complex.

Für einen Franzosen kaum grün, sehr würzig und ein wenig Süße. Gar nicht so französisch und sehr ausgewogen. Intensiv und Komplex.

Beautiful classic 1998 Bellevue. Not the strongest of the batch for me, but as a lover of the Damoiseau profile you will get your money's worth here.

In der Nase ein intensiver schwer zu beschreibender süßlicher Duft mit leichten Gewürz Anklängen. Im Glas leicht ölig und ein heller Bernsteinfarbton. auf der Zunge eher wässrig mit einer spitzen Schärfe. Mit etwas Wasser verdünnt kommen schließlich Noten von Zimt, Tabak, altem Papier und würzigem Pfirsich zum Vorschein. Der Abgang ist dann nochmal komplexer mit einem Geschmack nach Kakao, Zimt, karamellisierten Früchten, Aprikose, Msngo und einer gewissen Würzigkeit.
