The word that keeps coming up is artificial. This is a light, sweet gold rum built around orange and vanilla sugar, with soft roasted wood underneath — but the sweetness reads synthetic, and several tasters found the body thin and the finish short. A couple of members compared it to a sweetened orange rum. Most landed around the middle: drinkable, not memorable.

Zu allererst einmal ein DICKES DANKESCHÖN an TheDunderHut, wieder bei dem Wird&Blind Set dabei gewesen zu sein. Zusammen mit DomM wurde sich dieser Aufgabe gestellt. Leider kein Einhorn dabei gewesen, aber tolle rare Sachen probiert, an die man sonst nicht so gut rankommt. Einzig die Geschichten zu jeden einzelnen Rum des Spliters dazu habe ich wirklich vermisst zu.

Weird and Blind Tasting Nummer 3. Schwer einzuordnen. Wirkt etwas dünn vom Mundgefühl, aber bringt die wenigen Aromen ausreichend rüber. Recht süß, Vanille, Orange. Etwas künstlich alles. Meins ist es nicht. Hat mich bisschen an Planters Gold

Wood and vanilla sugar on the nose with a hint of dried fruits. On the palate dried fruits again. However, also very sweet and artificial which is overpowering.

Weird and Blind tasting #3 In the nose the sweet flowers come forward as well as some vanilla and peach. In the mouth very soft with little sweet notes and a bit floral. Aftertaste is very short with very soft woody notes in the background.
