Give it time in the glass and this three-country blend really opens: tropical fruit, pineapple and peach up front, mint running through it, with cocoa, roasted wood and a whisper of leather underneath. One member found it "pretty Guyana forward," the demerara nudging ahead of the Worthy Park funk. At 54.1% the heat sits well integrated. Long, dry, faintly mentholated finish.

Das ist ein wirklich guter Blend, da kann man echt nicht meckern. Minze ist hier jedenfalls deutlich erkennbar, aber auch diverse tropische Früchte, vor allem Ananas und Pfirsich. Ein wirklich gelungenes Teil haben wir hier.

Famille Ricci Unique Blend X-Tasting #2: Wirklich ein erstklassiger Blend - viel Tropische Früchte, Pfirsicheistee und Minze. Die Holz-, Röst-und Lederaromen sind nebenbei zu schmecken, halten sich jedoch im Hintergrund.

Dégusté rapidement au salon Rhum Fest Paris, puis à la maison avec des samples. Sur le nez on est vraiment au début entre le côté floral et l’ orange amère. Avec un peu d’aération, le sucre brûlé et peut-être la cassonade. En bouche, je pense à de l’ananas et du caramel au beurre. La finale est vraiment plus boisée, avec une note fraîche, de menthol. Fin de verre, quelques notes de goudrons peut-être. C’est un profil vraiment complet, entre fraîcheur, florale, menthol, et des notes, plus sombres, plus boisées.

Im Vergleich heute mal wieder Abfüllungen aus der Unique Blend Serie der Familie Ricci. Die Nr. 1, Nr.2 und Nr.4. Alle drei waren auf jedenfall besser als die Nr.3, aber so wirklich hat jetzt keine Abfüllung mich zu einem Fomo hingerissen.

Voilà un blend qui nous sort de nos habitudes. Au nez, le guyana a légèrement le dessus par rapport au worthy park, avec en arrière plan, la douceur du Nicaragua. En bouche, les saveurs explosent. On a bien les 3 provenances. Elles se fondent très bien les unes dans les autres pour un très beau résultat, avec une belle complexité. Un côté rosier très présent et plaisant. Belle finale. Encore une fois, les loups excellent dans le domaines des blends !
