Third day of tasting Alambique Serrano and the two stills really stand out. This is much lighter and lacks the fuel notes of the pot still expressions. The aging, however, unites all of the expressions and is incredibly complex. Otoño is very spice forward, with lots of clove, juniper or other conifer, and minty notes. The fruitiness is dialed down in this compared to the pot still expressions but there are some green fruit notes and maybe some cherry flavors coming from the wood.

Poured from a bottle that's been open for ~1 year and is 75% full. Another good blend from Alambique Serrano, this one leans much more sweet and lactic than others that I have tried. A distinct buttered popcorn is present on the palate, as well as heavy baking spices. Distillate is hidden away on this and takes time to come out.

This is just a baking spices bomb. Allspice, nutmeg, clove, etc. Honestly, Otoño is the perfect name for this. No clue how they get all the flavors to be there, but damn if this wouldnt make a great holiday grog!

A very minty, green nose. On the palate, these notes of peppermint, menthol and aniseed are directly present. A little too much for me.
