Eines der letzten Sample aus dieser Reihe von Vagabond. Vorab, wie immer sehr schlichtes aber super schönes Label. Zur Abfüllung selbst, pur schön schmackhaft mit gut eingebunden Alkohol. Als Mixer finde ich ihn sogar noch einen Ticken besser.

#6436 06.03.2026 Relaxing after a busy and fast passing week. Listening to some nice Trance by Sonic Species. This is a very nice estery rum with a very good price tag. Fruity and well balanced with salty olive notes and minerals.

Mal ein etwas anderer Rum, der aufgrund der verrückten Komposition, insbesondere in der Nase an einen Clairin erinnert. Im Gaumen kommt dann der Grand Arome stärker heraus mit Erdbeer und wie der Name schon sagt auch Ananas. Pur definitiv ein Sample wert sollte er aber auch mal in einem Daiquiri probiert werden.

This rum took some time to open up, maybe 30 minutes. On the nose: Light ester notes, light vegetal notes and fermented, slightly overripe olive note as the main note, but as the rum opens up even more there some light fruity notes in the background. Taste: Esters, sweet at first, mineral, lightly salty and olive notes. Then you get light smoky notes and vegetal notes. I do get some light strawberry notes and maybe pineapple notes too. Finish: Warm, salty and oily mouthfeel, olives and light esters. Medium finish. Interesting rum that i could see shining more in some cocktails.
