CDI T.D.L Trinidad (Sweden) 2011
Cough-drop menthol is the twist here — mint and eucalyptus running through caramel, vanilla and yellow fruit, on a classic light TDL column-still base. At 59.6% the heat is real, and several members say the alcohol never fully tucks in. The palate turns Spanish-style: caramel, oak, pepper, tannins, with a faint peach and a bitter, woody finish that divides people.

How does CDI T.D.L Trinidad (Sweden) 2011 taste?
Aggregated from 16 community reviews.
Minty, woody TDL with a hot, bitter edge Well-liked overall, but two catches recur: the alcohol sits proud and the finish leans bitter and woody. Fans call it good value and keep restocking; others want it more balanced.

Fun fact: "There is a mango plantation next to the distillery, which is said to affect fermentation and flavor development"

Solid bottling with typical TDL notes. Somewhat beastly on the finish, however. Mint/menthol are present, but not extreme like other bottlings. I find faint peach on the palate, which I like.
