Perola Bellamy's Reserve Oloroso Cask Finish (Batch 3)
"Surprised me completely," one taster wrote — the Oloroso cask sits present but not overpowering here. You get sherry and dried fruit on the nose, plus plum and a little coffee, then a dry, lightly spiced palate with raisins and toffee. A streak of acidity runs through it that a couple of members flag, and there's a touch of ester in the mix. Mild and easy for its style.

Der Bellamys Oloroso überrascht mich komplett Im geschmeck er hat nicht diese gewöhnliche sherry note. Eine gewisse Säure und rosigkeit schweigt mit. Geschmacklich ist er auch sehr mild und angenehm zu trinken. Ich finde diesen rum sehr gut 👍

Warten grad auf die Fähre nach Juist. Ist besser als der vorherige dieser Bellamys. Auf jeden Fall haben wir Sherry und getrocknete Früchte in der Nase. Am Gaumen auch sehr deutlich Sherry, außerdem ziemlich trocken und leicht würzig.

#5119 01.03.2025 tasting at Whiskymessen.dk 2025. Nose Light wood, faint plum, faint coffee, light berries, light sherry, dried fruit. Palate Light, light acidic, light sherry, raisin, light nutts, spice, light caramel, light wood. Finish Medium long, light wood, light sherry, dried fruit, light chocolate, spice, faint salt, light caramel.

Hinweis: Tätigkeit bei Perola GmbH (Spirituosenbranche), teilweise berufliche Involvierung bei bewerteten Abfüllungen. Alle Bewertungen sind meine persönliche, unbezahlte Meinung. Reiht sich gut als nun dauerhaft verfügbarer Nachfolger der beiden ersten Limited Editions ein. Der Sherry Einfluss ist nicht zu dominant, nur der Blend an sich ist nicht ganz so harmonisch wie bei den beiden Vorgänger Editionen meiner Meinung nach. Ohne ester hätte er mir vermutlich besser gefallen. Für 45€ kann man aber nicht meckern.

In der nase noten von sherry, ester, getrocknete früchte, kaffee, am gaumen noten von sherry , rosinen, homz, toffee, ester und ein geschmack in richtung säure, der abgang ist mittelmäsig , störend ist der säureartige geschmack.
