Las Cabras Planteray Panama (Germany & Austria) 1992
For a 32-year-old Panama, the wood stays surprisingly quiet — what carries it is spice. Expect nutmeg, cinnamon and allspice over dark chocolate, coffee and burnt sugar, with an oily texture and barely any fruit beyond a little orange peel. One taster pegged it as cinnamon pastry with strong French-press coffee. Pleasantly sweet but not cloying, with a dry, tannic finish.

How does Las Cabras Planteray Panama (Germany & Austria) 1992 taste?
Aggregated from 10 community reviews.
Spicy, chocolatey aged Panama, light on fruit Most find it well-balanced and spice-forward, an easy older sipper. A few feel it gets a bit lost on the palate — lots of nutmeg and chocolate, but very little fruit and a touch bitter at the end.

Review by SaibotZtar
In the nose chocolate, honey sweetness, nutmeg, maple syrup generally nice spiciness although restrained, little fruit some candied peach. In the mouth very oily consistency full pipe dark chocolate some coconut allspice and nutmeg pleasant sweetness. Virtually zero fruitiness ... Perhaps a little raisin but coated in chocolate. Some bitterness in the finish.

Very tasty 1992 Panama Vintage! Significantly better than its predecessor from Plantation, which was also much sweeter. The main aromas here are spicy hot cinnamon, banana peel, intensely fresh allspice and nutty tonka bean, as well as black pepper and strongly brewed coffee from the French press. Reminiscent of cinnamon biscuits with a good cup of coffee! Nice selection and above all not too sweet! Very tasty and well balanced! Unexpectedly delicious and super drinkable!
