Opinions run middling here: some enjoy this little Cuban for its dry, easygoing character, while others find the alcohol too far forward for a 7-year-old at 38%. Expect tobacco, orange peel and a toffee-cocoa sweetness, plus a grassy, slightly tannic finish. One taster loved "the dryness of this rum," another simply wouldn't buy it again — a fine, unfussy sipper without much depth.

Dry, tobacco-led Cuban with sharp alcohol Split verdict: pleasant tobacco, caramel and orange, and a nice dryness, but the alcohol reads sharp for its age and there's little depth. Several say better Cuban 7-year-olds exist.

J'ai eu l'occasion de terminer la bouteille d'un ami en fin de repas et j'ai plutôt apprécié ce petit cubain qui ne manque pas de vivacité malgré son faible degré. Tabac, caramel et zeste d'orange. Pas beaucoup de relief mais plutôt sympa. Je suis surpris des notes qui me semblent dures !

Smells and tastes of tobacco. The alcohol is too overpowering for my taste. I won't be buying this rum again. There are better 7-year-olds from Cuba.

Зажатый аромат, но он ромовый. Петушок на палочке (карамель), трава, сладость. Вкус сначала обволакивающий, потом немного бочковой терпкости затем травянистость. Послевкусие ниже среднего, бочка и трава.
