Das war eine weile mein go-to Rum für nen leckeren, preiswerten Cola-Rum. Er hat eine deutliche rauchige Note, die ihn interessant macht. Von Vorteil ist natürlich auch seine Verfügbarkeit bei jedem Aldi (zumimdest hier im Norden).

Ich habe ihn in sehr guter Erinnerung. Der Havana Club 7 J. war vor rund 20 Jahren mein zweiter, oder dritter guter Rum, den ich bis dahin getrunken habe. Er ist pur und mit Cola ein Genuss. Der ebenfalls kubanische 7 jährige Mulata Rum hatte es mir gleichermaßen angetan. Er ist etwas fruchtiger, kostete bei Aldi aber nur 10€. Für diesen Preis kenne ich bis heute keine bessere Spirituose. Beide Kubaner sind ehrliche und nicht (kaum) gesüßte Rums.

This was my first real rum mixology where the master did some pretty good drinks. Please be aware that the score is based on the final result and not for the "raw rum" in a clea tasting, which would be pretty different! Red breeze 2 cl Mulata 2 cl blackcurrant liquor 4 cl cranberry juice 4cl grapefruit juice Shake really well with ice and serve. Nice sweet and cooling mixer that I'd say would be pretty good on a hot day at the beach.

gefällt mir besser wie der hc7. schöne Banane, Rauch und dunkle Schokolade Note. bleibt auch etwas länger da Geschmacklich wie der Rest... kann man machen.

Read full review →Not enough complexity despite its 7 years of ageing. There are better Cuban rums - Ron de Santiago and Ron Cubay available at this price. This is less complex and a touch sweeter than those rums. I personally prefer this to Havana Club 7 Year Old - but its touch...
