Foursquare Rum Artesanal Barbados Rum MBFS 2005
The surprise here is how much it drinks like bourbon — one taster called it a rum that tastes "geil nach Bourbon" (wildly bourbon-like), all vanilla, cherry and caramel-popcorn over roasted oak. There's a glue note wrapped in coconut too. At 60.2% it hits hard, though: several found the spice and smoky heat almost too much neat, and water didn't tame it.

How does Foursquare Rum Artesanal Barbados Rum MBFS 2005 taste?
Aggregated from 24 community reviews.
Bourbon-forward, high-proof Barbados single cask Most love this single-cask Foursquare for its bourbon-heavy, cherry-and-caramel profile. The catch: at 60.2% the spice and heat can bulldoze the finer notes, and water barely helps.

wow... RA shows once again where the hammer hangs... rarely drunk a rum that tastes so much like bourbon. the alcohol content is extremely well integrated and an absolute pleasure. will buy 🙏🏻🔥🤤 Cherry, caramel popcorn and chocolate-covered coconut...awesome! for me one of the absolute best Foursquares on the market, I'm glad I got a second bottle. and at a price of 50€ RRP. brilliant!

This is a tasting set from 2022 where we had a lot of fun around the table. This Foursquare is pretty good and the price tag is really good compared to what you get. Fruity with nice spices and roasted wood. The palate is intense and oily and the empty glass is really nice and I can pick up a light smoky note and some coffee.

Solider Foursquare. Man bekommt was man erwartet.

Einfacher typischer Foursquare. Was zu erwarten war und schön ist. Leichte Süße, schöne Fruchtnoten, minimal Farbe. Etwas Caramel bei einer schönen Farbe. Daily Sipper mit 60.2 % Vol.
