Rum Nation Worthy Park Small Batch Rare Rums 2006
What catches people first here is the heat: at 57% this Worthy Park runs hotter and sharper than the usual house bottlings, with several tasters calling it near the edge of drinkable. Underneath sits the classic profile — banana, ester, acetone, overripe tropical fruit, a rubbery whisky note and light oak. Dry, intense, unmistakably pot-still Jamaican.

How does Rum Nation Worthy Park Small Batch Rare Rums 2006 taste?
Aggregated from 28 community reviews.
Hot, dry, ester-forward Worthy Park sipper Well-liked and true to the Worthy Park markers, but the alcohol pushes through harder than in other bottlings. A good funky sipper if you don't mind the extra bite.

Pub Alte Post Witten February 2025. A Worthy Park from Rum Nation afterwards. The nose consists mainly of esters and tropical fruits. On the palate we also have tropical fruits as well as rubber, esters and whisky.

03.07.2020 visited my friend and he had this nice rum in the cabinet. Notes. Nose: light wood, ester, overripe fruits, spices, light floral note. Palate: oily, light wood, light smoke, ester, banana, citrus, spice. Finish: long and warm, roasted wood, pineapple, ester, light floral note.

Compared to other Worthy Park bottlings, the alcohol comes through more strongly on the nose and it is also somewhat sharper on the palate. The typical markers of the Worthy Park profile are present. In my opinion, a passable Worthy Park on its own, but not one that is particularly convincing.
