Here's the twist: the nose gets people with fresh cane, cut grass and a fun marzipan note, but the palate is where opinions split hard. At 59.7% and just two years old, the alcohol runs wild and "not well integrated," as several tasters put it. Underneath sits proper Bielle-style agricole — fresh sugarcane, mineral, hay, a lime-and-orange finish. Young, raw, and divisive.

Nez : une belle canne végétale qui vient s’entrecroiser avec la vanille, le flan au caramel, de légères notes de réglisse ou d’anis peut-être. Une certaine fraicheur se dégage, de la menthe ? En tout cas quelques notes médicinales sont également de la partie après aération. Plutot complet ce nez. En bouche, une belle sucrosité, le retour du flan à la vanille, des notes florales, d’agrumes, et d’oranges. Ca glisse tout seul, on se laisse transporter. Finale un peu plus simple, entre notes florales et végétales. Un bon cru.

La base est bonne, mais c est dommage que lalcool de ce BDF ne soit pas assez bien intégré. Du coup au nez c est assez fermé par l alcool .on a du caramel/herbe, mais aussi un contraste vinaigré. En bouche l alcool reste présent et donne de la vivacité. Il y a du caramel au beurre, foin et du minéral. Finale en deux temps de la douceur caramel/herbe qui évolue en zeste d orange/minéral.

Le nez nous frappe par sa puissance alcoolique. Normal, il chiffre à 59,7%. Mais il pique pas mal les bulbes olfactifs. On sent très nettement l'eau de vie et une forte puissance éthylique. On sent du massepain et il y a beaucoup de fraîcheur herbacée, avec cette canne corsée et cette odeur d'herbes coupées. Un peu de caramel pointe le bout de son nez. La bouche amène beaucoup d'oléagineux : de la noix de Grenoble, amande amère. Le tout dans cet alcool mal intégré. On retrouve ces accents très végétaux : du foin, de l'herbe coupée, avec quelques épices de cuisine. Franchement pas terrible. La finale est assez longue sur cette noix et un désagréable goût de carton. Je n'ai pas pris beaucoup de plaisir avec ce rhum.

Découvert lors d'une visite chez Versus vins et spiritueux, super caviste d'ailleurs. Beaucoup de fraîcheur, canne à sucre fraîche, citron vert, légèrement terreux, trame Bielle assurément. Un peu de vanille aussi (fût de Bourbon). Je n'ai pas plus apprécié que ça le jeune vieillissement. J'ai trouvé l'alcool un peu trop présent. Je lui préfère un canne grise plus classique mais plus net. À regoûter prochainement pour confirmer ou non ma première impression.

Au nez, c’est immédiat : on est sur de la canne fraîche, avec un profil très agricole, frais, végétal et minéral. L’alcool est assez présent mais sans masquer les arômes. En bouche, l’attaque est vive, marquée par l’alcool, mais rapidement la complexité s’installe : la canne reste dominante, accompagnée de notes terreuses et d’une belle fraîcheur minérale en milieu de bouche. La finale évoque une eau-de-vie de mirabelle ou de poire. Un rhum agréable, plutôt sec, qui manque un peu de rondeur et de gourmandise par rapport aux bruts de fût de Bielle. Il me rappelle d’ailleurs beaucoup la Canne Grise de la même maison.

Obwohl der Rum recht eintönig nach Zuckerrohr, Erde und Toffee riecht und schmeckt sind diese unterschiedlichen Aromen sehr gut miteinander ausbalanciert. Der Alkohol ist gut eingebunden. Pur nicht so der Hit, aber zum Mixen sicher gut geeignet.

Ein noch recht junger und wilder bielle, mit primär pflanzlichen Noten aber auch einer feinen süße und intensivem Zuckerrohr aroma. Der Alkohol könnte definitiv besser integriert sein aber die Grundqualität ist gut....

I can't really do anything with this bottling. I still find the nose with its fresh floral and honey-sweet aroma the most pleasant. On the palate, however, it loses me. Too alcoholic and one-dimensional. The aromas are only rudimentary. The finish is very short
