#5268 21.04.2025 Got some new samples on Saturday that I just have to try. Nose Medium intense, fresh, light vegetal, citrus, sugarcane, light anise, light herbal. Palate Oily, fresh, medium intense, sugarcane, light vegetal, citrus, medium spicy, light anise, light sweet, light herbal, light cinnamon. Finish Long, round, light oily, citrus, light herbal, light sugarcane, light mango, medium spicy. Empty glass Cinnamon, citrus, sugarcane, light licorice. This rum also did pretty well in a Rum'n'Coke.

This rum from the Bologne distillery in Guadeloupe is, from the 2020 harvest, is made purely from a plot with black cane. The nose is balanced with scents of basil, passion fruit, apricots and sugarcane. At the palate it’s lively and peppery with flavors of salt and cinnamon. The finish is long with a taste of grapefruit.
