Die imposante Flasche ist schon ein Hingucker. In der Nase Honig, Orangenschalen und Vanille. Am Gaumen süße Vanille. Ein Hauch Minze im Abgang und noch mehr Orange. Einer der besseren A.H. Riise obwohl der Preis in keinem Verhältnis steht.

#6795 15.05.2026 While the wife is at work and I have a day off, I can enjoy some samples while watching different movies. Like the usual releases this is a collectors item. A rum with a high price tag compared to what you really get. Another sweet rum with some fruits, honey, chocolate, caramel, roasted wood and some leather.

I had the pleasure of tasting this before it's official release. It's definitely a better A H Riise rum. Very distinct orange flavors with a burnt woody Caramelized palate. Definitely worth a taste if you get the chance. I don't like sweet rums and while this was still very sweet it also packed enough Esthers to be interesting. Of course the prize is way too high comparing the taste with what I like, so could only be relevant as an investment object and then save it for 10+ years. But definitely a better A H Riise.
