Worthy Park S.B.S Jamaica (Bourbon and Moscatel Cask) Exclusively Bottled For France WPL 2015

"A typical Worthy Park, on the dry side" is how one taster sums it up, and most agree. Pineapple leads, with molasses and a touch of overripe fruit behind it, while the Moscatel cask adds a soft honeyed edge without burying the pot-still character. The esters stay quiet here. At 52% the alcohol sits well, making it more approachable than a lot of this bottler's releases.

Smells a lot like molasses, pineapple, overripe fruit. The taste is already slightly recognizable Worthy Park. Molasses combined with pineapple and bananas. Quite similar in the finish. I'm a bit bothered by the immaturity that comes through.

Tasted at RhumFest Paris 2025. A rather typical Worthy Park. Fruits play the lion's share in this bottle, pineapple in particular. Rather discreet esters. A good rum, with no great surprises, but whose alcohol content makes it more accessible than most of this bottler's bottles.

Good typical Worthy Park, which is rather on the dry side. I miss the overripe fruit a little.
