Hat jemand Popcorn gesagt ? An der Nase hab ich eigentlich nur Vanille und butterigkeit. Keine Spur von Foursquare oder Würze bzw Rum :-) Am Gaumen dann aber, umso positiv überraschender, kommt Würzigkeit dazu. Mir persönlich zu süß, aber das Verhältnis Süße-Würze passt sehr gut. Popcorn ist es nicht unbedingt, geht aber in die Richtung…

Unter normalen Umständen wäre dieser Rum anders zu bewerten. Auch rund und lecker kommen für mich in einer Bewertung nur selten vor. Aber für diesen Sparten-Rum, ich sage mal Spieced, ist er sehr sehr gut gemacht. Das Popcorn ist super eingebunden. Nich jeden Tag, nicht jede Woche, aber ab und zu mit Gästen, die dann ein glückliches Gesicht machen, weil der Caroni davor in die Hose ging, oder der Jamaica zu stark ist.

Vandaag lekker in de zon geproefd. Geur: Caramel, hopjes geur. Rum op de achtergrond. Smaak: zacht cremig caramellig, beetje zout, en op laatste komt de rum weer voorbij. Appart.

Absolutes Popcorn Kino dieser Rum. Für einen spiced Rum wirklich sehr sehr gut. Wirklich guter Grundstoff an Rum der einen perfekten Popcorn Geruch und Geschmack hat (natürlich sehr süß). Das leicht salzige Karamell im Abgang rundes das noch ab. Tolle Erfahrung sicher auch für die Rumexperten.

Sehr witzige Idee den damaligen cine cane popcorn rum neu aufleben zu lassen, nur halt richtig abgedreht und auf Steroiden. Sehr gelungenes Produkt wenn auch mir ein Tick zu süß, aber chapeau an Nico für diese sales Performance!

So ein extremer, spiced „Rum“ wird nichts für mich sein, aber probiert wird trotzdem: Nase: Ja, krass! Tatsächlich buttriges, karamellisiertes Popcorn. Dazu noch herbe Haselnuss, wie Hanuta. Von einem 17 Jahre alten Foursquare bekommt man gar nichts mit. Wer so etwas mag, kommt hier voll auf seine Kosten. Ich aber leider nicht, obwohl er nicht völlig unangenehm ist. Daher 6,0 Gaumen: Zucker Zucker süß. Deutlich Popcorn und eine leicht salzige Note. Der Zucker überdeckt aber alles, daher kann ich auch nicht viel mehr herausschmecken. Bestimmt sehr gut für Süßrum-Trinker, da er nicht wirklich schlecht ist, nur so überhaupt nichts für mich. 5,0

Mir fällt es schwer, den „Rum“ zu bewerten. Es ist auf jeden Fall eine lustige Idee, hat aber natürlich absolut nichts mit Rum zu tun. Von dem angeblich 17-jährigen Rum aus Barbados schmeckt man absolut nichts raus. Das finde ich sehr schade. Sonst sehr ähnlich zu dem Popcorn Rum, nur etwas intensiver. Geschmacklich viel Salzkaramell. Mir viel zu süß. Ein Hauch von Salzkaramell hätte es vielleicht auch getan. Alkohol ist trotz der niedrigen Prozente nicht gut eingebunden. Insgesamt ein nettes Dessert!

In der Nase die volle Ladung süßes Popcorn. Ich fühle mich direkt an einen Popcornstand versetzt an dem mir ein Riesenbecher noch leicht warmes Popcorn in die Hand gedrückt wird. Leider verschwindet das Bild schnell, denn bei zu tiefem Schnuffeln kickt der Alkohol ein wenig in der Nase. Am Gaumen dann die komplette Ernüchterung. Maritime Noten, salzig (was laut Beschreibung zu erwarten war), pappsüßes karameliges Popcorn Wo ist der Rum? Ja, den merke ich. Nicht als 17-jährigen Foursquare, sondern als alkoholische Schärfe. Bei 44,7 %. Na ja! Im Nachklang bleibt dann die klebrige Süße und die salzige Note. Die Idee ist nett, aber auch nichts neues. Cinecane und sogar der Aldi Süd hatte so etwas schon mal im Programm. Der Aldi vermutlich mit Neutralalkohol, aber die Basis ist bei dem Produkt eh wumpe, da du sogar nichts von dem Grundstoff schmeckst. Dementsprechend ist die Special Edition 2024 aus Quickborn für mich als Rum nicht bewertbar.

Sehr intensiver Geruch und Geschmack nach Popcorn. Es ist fast schon penetrant. Mal was ganz anderes aber auch sicherlich nichts für alle.

Ein gewöhnlicher spiced rum, bei dem sich die Qualität des Rum im Grunde auch hier nicht bewerten lässt. Versteckt hinter dem Aromen von Mais, Karamell und leichter Salznote verschwindet der 18-jährige Rum vollständig. Sehr gewöhnliches Produkt zu einem überzogenem Preis. Respekt für die intelligente Verkaufsstrategie für ein derartiges Produkt.
