Don Q Añejo
"Pretty thin on the palate, dominated by sweetness" is how one member sums it up, and most tasters agree. The nose is easy enough — caramel, vanilla, a little wood and yellow fruit — but the palate arrives watery and fades almost before you swallow. A light, unassuming Puerto Rican column-still rum that doesn't leave much behind.
The community says- Easy caramel nose
- Thin and watery
- Fades fast

How does Don Q Añejo taste?
Aggregated from 16 community reviews.
Light, watery Puerto Rican sipper that fades fast The verdict is clear and not kind: pleasant enough nose, then thin and watery on the palate. Several tasters called it one of the weaker Spanish-style rums they'd tried.

Dicker Respekt!

Rum No. 16 Etwas biestig. Vanille, Holz. 😊

4,8:On the nose, the first impression we get is alcoholic, light, sweet with woody notes like vanilla, caramel, there are yellow fruits and some tobacco. 4,5:On the palate, the attack is thin, sweet with sugar, woody notes like caramel, spices and some fruits. 4:The finish is short, diluted with burnt sugar, caramel, spicy and fruity and a little tar...
