Longueteau Souvenir La Tradition
Anyone easing into aged agricole will find this an easy, gentle pour: fresh sugarcane up front, a light pepper prickle, a touch of young oak and vanilla. Several French tasters call the nose honeyed and inviting with candied fruit, but note the palate stays quiet — the 3-year cask hasn't fully expressed itself. Soft and unaggressive for 45%, just short on depth.

Easy, cane-and-pepper agricole, a bit quiet Well-liked as an easy, cane-forward agricole, but many tasters find it too discreet and flat — pleasant yet low on intensity and complexity for its price bracket.

Review by Pascal Gwada
