Nose: Subtle but pleasant nose. Spices predominate. Aniseed, vanilla, licorice, perhaps even herbs. Unidentifiable fruits mingle with it. Palate: Slightly peppery start, which quickly fades into the background in favor of vanilla and other spices. Pleasantly mild and dry. Finish: Spicy and slightly bitter. Conclusion: A rum from Barbados whose great strength is its balance. Pleasing on the nose and palate. However, complexity is sought in vain here. Easy sipping.

Another older tasting. Fresh and fruity release with a nice floral note and roasted wood. Slightly dry on the palate. Made a not that the empty glass had some chocolate and coffee to it.
