Aroma visualization from community tastings
Ronrico Ronrico Gold Label 1970s
"Thin, wenig Geschmack" is the running theme here — a light Puerto Rican column rum that shows up as caramel, vanilla and a bit of wood, then fades fast. Several tasters found the vanilla a touch artificial and the body watery for 40%. One reviewer got apple and prune, milk chocolate and tobacco on the palate, but agreed there's not much to hold onto. A curiosity from an old tasting set more than a bottle you'd chase.

4,5:On the nose, the attack is quite alcoholic, sugary, light with spicy vanilla, wood, some apples. 5,5:On the palate, the attack is a bit more pleasant with, still alcoholic, with roasted wood notes like burnt sugar, caramel, spicy vanilla, there is a tobacco and almost no fruits. 5,3:The finish is medium short, diluted with woody caramel, vanilla, milk chocolate, we taste tobacco and apples...

Dicker Respekt!

Es geht weiter mit den künstlichen Aromen. Vanillin, junges Holz, alkoholisch... allerdings einen Hauch geschmeidiger.

Rum No. 4 Im Direktvergleich gewinnt Nr. 3 (RX21935) wirkt viel verdünnter. 😊

Review by crazyforgoodbooze
Leider zu stark verdünnt, was aromatisch deutliche Einbußen fordert.

The liquid History of Puerto Rico Tasting - der Nachfolger der Nr. 3.
