Renegade Virgin American Oak Foundations 2021
Members land around a friendly agreement: young, but the virgin oak already rounds it off. The nose is light — sugarcane, faint wood, a mineral-olive edge — then the palate turns fresh and lightly sweet with a saline, almost medicinal streak that a few tropical fruits soften. At 55% the alcohol reads well integrated, not hot. One reviewer sums up Grenada as an "emerging terroir", and this bottle makes the case.

How does Renegade Virgin American Oak Foundations 2021 taste?
Aggregated from 13 community reviews.
Young Grenada cane rum, fresh and lightly saline Consensus is pleasantly surprised: a young cane rum the fresh oak has already tamed. Balanced and drinkable, with a saline-vegetal streak that keeps it interesting rather than sweet.

Palate Round, sweet, light wood, sugarcane, light vegetal, olive, light salt, fresh, light citrus, faint mineral. Finish Medium long, fresh, round, sweet, light wood, sugarcane, light olive, faint grass, light herbal.
