I was lent this and a rum to try. Decided to take one for the community and try it neat to be able to report back. Sadly no surprises here. It is not good (arguably not wholly offensive). Certainly not for neat sipping (again no surprise). The nose gives off entirely of plastercine and a faint hint of coffee, or maybe the plastercine smell is coffee and sugar mixed. The palate is coffee and sugar. The finish is thankfully sweet and thankfully short. The rating is based on sipping neat, not as a cocktail component. This is maybe unfair as it is obviously a cocktail component but the is is a rum app so I’m rating it on its own merits.
