Neisson Zetwal Sirius 2024
Most tasters land around "very good," with several calling this second Zetwal more expressive than the first Polaris. Expect fresh sugarcane, lots of lime peel, dried fig and a soft honey finish, with wood staying discreet next to yellow fruit. Elegant and long, easy to drink for its strength — the recurring grumble is simply that it costs a lot.

Aggregated from 30 community reviews.
Elegant, fruity aged Martinique agricole Loved by nearly everyone who tried it at Whisky Live Paris: fruity, fine and long. A step up from the first release, though a few felt the price outruns the bottle.

Notes from Whisky Live Paris 2024 - to be reviewed and expanded upon. I wasn't impressed at all by the first opus, but the 2nd is clearly more expressive. What's more, I'm tasting it (for the 2nd time) with Mike and Alex B, so of course I've got some help with the tasting! Far from the ultra-woody rum, here we have a lovely cane, lots of lime, fig, ginger, and a touch of sweet honey on the finish. Superb. Thanks, folks!

#4837 Whisky Live in Paris 27.09.2024-30.09.2024. Another great event meeting a lot of RumX new and old friends. This year three weren't as many new releases as in 2023, but I still had a great time. Nose Light, fresh, sweet, fruits, light wood, spice, faint coffee, dried fruit, faint caramel. Palate Light, velvety, balanced, complex, dried fruit, faint coffee, light caramel, sweet, faint wood. Finish Medium long, complex, light wood, dried fruit, faint chocolate, spice, faint vegetal. This is a very easy drinkable and complex rum but it's also a very expensive one. If you have the chance to try it then give it a go, you won't regret it 😉

Excellent. Better than Zetwal We went from 5 mg to 232 mg of aromatic esters after only 1 year's rest in lightning.

A rum tasted at Whisky Live in Paris in 2024. Yellow fruit and mirabelle plum, sweetness on the nose, discreet oak and a very slight vegetal note. Sweetness on the palate too, with more wood, more yellow fruit and dried herbs. The finish is long and, like this fine rum, elegant and smooth. A more fruity nose, while the wood is more noticeable on the palate with a fine bitterness.

Whisky Live Paris 2024 (trade fair evaluation, only overall rating and personal recommendation to buy): Mega on the nose, the impression falls off slightly on the palate. The conditions at a trade fair perhaps don't do the rum justice. I would like to try it again, but I don't need a bottle because of the price.
