Like a "light" Foursquare. Not much cask. Very characterful spirit though like most TCRL.

Quite unspectacular. Not a typical representative for Foursquare, also quite meaningless in the profile. Here probably a few more years in the barrel would have helped - so remains a flat rum, which is not unpleasant, but comes along a bit trivial.

11.12.2019 Notes. Nose: light, fruity, pineapple, citrus, wood, spice. Palate: light, wood, dried fruit, vanilla, chocolate. Finish: short to medium, dried fruit, wood, chocolate. Extra note. Needed to rest for a good while before it was drinkable/ready.

After positive impressions of other TCRL bottlings such as Fiji, Worthy Park and the Night Rambler, the Barbados 2012 comes across as rather unspectacular. Foursquare light; a solid mixer.
