AP Liquid Pearls Single Cask Rum Jamaica (Bourbon & PX Sherry Cask) 2016
Most owners land firmly on the happy side of this one. It's a low-ester Jamaican — people argue whether it's Hampden or Worthy Park — with a big cherry-and-banana nose, some glue and citrus, then a creamy, spiced palate where the PX sherry sits clearly on top. The 59% is well integrated for most; a long, oily, slightly tannic finish rounds it off.

How does AP Liquid Pearls Single Cask Rum Jamaica (Bourbon & PX Sherry Cask) 2016 taste?
Aggregated from 25 community reviews.
Cherry-heavy low-ester Jamaican, big sherry hand Most drinkers call it a rounded, well-made bottle — cherry-forward with a clear sherry hand. A few wanted more Jamaica funk and cleaner alcohol integration, but that's the minority.

Village Nuremberg 2025 review I think the sherry finish on this low ester (I think it might be an OWH) works beautifully on the nose. Smells creamy like cherry and banana as well as oatmeal. Not quite the same on the palate, but still good. Price for under 100 fully OK. Palate not too sweet, not a dank barrel. Solid

Vůně dost melasová , estery, ananas. Chuť velmi jemná, krémová. Melasa, přezrálé ovoce, ananas. V závěru melasa, marcipán, ananas, vanilka, kopanec třísloviny, koření a pak se to hodí do velmi povedené vanilkové krémovosti.

The finish works very well with this low ester Hampden.
