Aquavitae Mülheim Oktober 2025. Weiter geht es mit Ron del Artesano. Hier ein 18-jähriger, welcher auch eher süßlich rüberkommt. Ansonsten hat er einen guten Whiskytouch, schmeckt aber auch nach Leder und Holz.

Verkostung auf dem 14. German Rum Festival: Vielleicht lag es auch daran, dass es einer der letzten Proben war, die ich am Samstag im Glas hatte und der Gaumen schon ein bisschen müde war. Aber sehr viel passiert da nicht: Sehr trocken und gelangweilt eindimensional.

Dieser Rum ist wirklich sehr trocken. Das geht schon so weit, dass es an scotch erinnert. Das Tawny finish scheint da kaum durch. Ich vermisse hier einfach den Rum. Die Abfüllung mit 58% ist da deutlich gefälliger

Ich würde behaupten man kann alle 3 fasstxpen raus Schmecken, das Virgin oak hat das ganze für mich leider etwas uninteressant gemacht - grundsätzlich ist die Basis aber ein toller rum
