Alcoholes Y Rones de Panama SA Rumclub Private Selection Ed. 47 2013
Here's the surprise: this is a Panama column-still rum that isn't boring. Several tasters who usually find the Spanish style dull got pulled in by the smoke — barbecue, tobacco, roasted wood — layered over dried apricot, mango, vanilla and toffee. At 64.2% the alcohol sits shockingly well integrated. A few pick up "buttery, macadamia nut" richness. The smoky streak is the one thing that divides opinion.

Second Panama in my life but I'm impressed. Creamy, buttery, macadamia nut, something is in here that keeps telling me, more, more ! Sugar ? 🤣I hope not but it drinks really easy for the proof. Evolves a lot with times, you don't get bored with this one

Gute Fassauswahl!

Überraschend fruchtig in der Nase, sehr angenehme Aromatik. Am Gaumen ausgewogen, schöne Melange aus Früchten, Vanille, Holz und dezenten Gewürznoten. Entspannt zu trinken, prima PLV.
