Aroma visualization from community tastings
Valinch & Mallet South Pacific Single Cask FSPD 2004
Sip this neat and you get vanilla, baking spice and raisin sitting on a noticeable alcohol edge — at 58.5% it doesn't hide its strength. A few tasters loved the spicy, herbal character ("a pecka for the evening"), while one hoped for the burnt-plastic Fijian funk and found this leaning cleaner and sharper instead. A 13-year pot still Fiji that splits the room a little.

I have had a short break from tasting because I felt like 2-3 days a week with tasting was a bit over the top. Back in shape again and we had a wonderful evening yesterday.
