Manutea Tahiti 50
One taster said it "made me jump in the air for joy" — mostly because of the huge black licorice hit that catches everyone off guard. This unaged Tahitian cane-juice rum smells fresh, grassy and floral, then goes full liquid licorice on the palate with pepper, a little solvent and a warm 50% bite. Grassy, oily-bodied and genuinely unusual.

Licorice sticks in liquid and brutally intense! how is that possible?!! personally, I'm not a fan of licorice at all, but it's kind of crazy😅 in the daiquiri, the licorice note also remains brutally dominant, but is flattered by light vanilla and coconut/banana and bitter orange notes. Cool and very unusual stuff 😅🕺

A very fresh, grassy rum with a serious black licorice kick. I happen to love black licorice so this rum scratches an itch for me. Not the most refined as a sipper, although I’m good with it, but would make a fun daiquiri.

Shockingly licorice flavor. Based on the smell I wasn’t expecting much but the taste blew me away and made me jump in the air for joy. I felt like the Doom Slayer ripping my way through hell. In sort, a good run. :)
