Woody, earthy aroma followed by fruity notes. First impression on the palate: sweet and vanilla. Then drier, woody and spicy. Powerful and unlike anything I've ever tasted. Very pleasantly surprised.

The nose is a pure delight. A blend of Jamaican crossed with Foursquare and mhoba high ester, wow.the palate on the other hand is a little disappointing compared to the nose because we lose a lot of aroma between the two.overall the value for money remains very good, a good surprise!

Zudem Vanille Aromen. Abgang: Mittellang,

Complex nose with ripe tropical fruit esters, light oak and vanilla as well as sweetness with a pop of caramelized horn. The palate is much simpler, spicy and woody, with the caramelized side more present (perhaps too much so) and the length almost non-existent. good value for money all the same

Time to start reviewing Mhoba samplepackage rums i bought from Rhum attitude awhile ago. On the nose:Woody, tamed ester. Barrel influence gives spices and hint of charred notes after a while. Hints of vanilla and caramel are giving a touch of sweetness. Lovely on the nose. Taste: The cask were previously used for whisky making and those are notes i recognice at first and it has a alcoholic feel in to it. Pretty light. There are some sweetness in to this, vanilla, coconut and light ginger maybe. Finish: Starting to get hints of agricole notes on the finish. Peppery, earthy sugarcane notes. Finish is quite dry. Lovely on the nose, but the taste was too dominated by the barrel and it was also lacking of complexity and strong, clear flavours. One for the whisky drinkers maybe.

Tasted 06-04-2024 Nosing The nose on this is insane, stewed apples meet a macadamia nut on the first nosing .. Then oak meets a vegetal nose .. Tasting This is slightly heavy on the oak notes but then sweetens This is insane for the price ...

The rum is very fruity on the nose. Slightly pineapple and mango! Some vanilla and therefore also something sweet. On the palate, however, a gentle spiciness and young wood predominate! There is not much left of the fruitiness! The sweetness at the beginning is reminiscent of marzipan and then changes to a note of dark chocolate! The finish is short and the spice and something chocolaty remains! The rum is not very complex but drinkable! A sipper for the evening

Haaa, the nose is atypical. It's a mixture of burnt wood/vanilla and light fruitiness. It's rather strange and intriguing. On the palate, it's rather soft and disappointing. There are notes of vanilla/woody and peppers. The finish isn't long enough, and is too sweet and peppery. Too classic a rum, despite its forty-odd euro price tag, it offers no real gustatory interest.
