CDI Jamaica 2008
One taster called it a "very smooth Jamaican blend" with only moderate funk, and that sums it up. You get glue and ester on the nose, then banana, cherry and cookie-dough sweetness, with a woody, faintly smoky finish. Several members flag the New Yarmouth share carrying it. At 57.9% it's full-proof but rounder than most Jamaicans — some find it easy, others miss the fruit.

How does CDI Jamaica 2008 taste?
Aggregated from 24 community reviews.
Smooth, moderate-funk Jamaican at full proof Most call it an easy, rounded Jamaican with real cask strength but tamer funk. Good value; one or two find it a bit forgettable and short on fruit.

A good introduction to Jamaica in Full Proof. The New Yarmouth part comes across very well. Easy sipping all-rounder!

Very smooth Jamaican blend. Very enjoyable, only moderat funk levels in this one.

Kirsch Banane Cookie high esther granate.

Review by Daniel
