The rum has a clean light to medium aroma, that is a classic molasses rum aroma. It also has medium flavor intensity that once again is just classic molasses based rum with caramels and burnt sugars. There is not a ton of complexity, but it is a solid smooth rum that would be great in a cocktail as a little more flavorful option in place of a light Spanish style rum.
