Diamond Corunas Demerara Rum 1990s
If you want a light, easygoing Demerara without much weight, this one fits. It leans fruity and soft — apricot and peach up front, orange peel on the nose, with young wood and a touch of caramel behind. The 40% keeps it thin and gentle, and the finish is short. Pleasant enough, but as one taster put it, "okayish rum just very boringly made."

Weird and Blind Tasting von Artur. Sample Nummer 4.

Weird and Blind tasting @Artur: Recht dünn, leichte fruchtige Süße, etwas Holz, etwas Melasse.

Weird and Blind Tasting #4 The color is soft yellow, the softness also comes across in the smell and taste. In the nose sweet fruit such as peach, apricot and a hint of banana. Soft and pleasant with a hint of sweetness. This also comes forward in the mouth. In addition to the light fruity you can certainly also taste tones of wood. young wood, soft wood. During a number of sips, sometimes some light warmth is released in the mouth. aftertaste is short to medium long. A nice rum!
