The nose is vegetal and spicy with burnt sugar, wood and fruits. The palate is distinctly vegetal, sweet, nutty and woody with dates, dried fruits and some unripe fruit. The finish is short and sweet.

Zum Tagesabschluss dann noch einen recht guten Agricole von Trois Rivieres. Ist auch sehr holzig und würzig in der Nase. Vanille kann ich erkennen. Am Gaumen dann dasselbe Spiel, kommt hier aber noch ein Hauch Pfeffer hinzu.

The latest addition to the Trois Rivières arsenal. The nose is typical of the distillery: woody and spicy, as well as fresh, honeyed cane, it is above all the herbaceous and iodized notes that give this Trois Rivières a touch of fantasy. A simple but varied nose. The attack on the palate is rather direct: vegetal, earthy, iodized and herbal notes take over the palate. The wood accentuates the dryness, while the agricultural notes almost offer a touch of freshness on the palate. Dried fruits, tobacco and spices struggle to impose their flavors on this somewhat closed palate. The alcohol is well integrated for a low degree. The finish is of medium length, driven by sugarcane, agricultural notes and a slight, unexpected bitterness. Wood and spice have minimal influence, while the fruit has completely disappeared. It's not a bad rum, but it lacks depth and aromatic complexity, and unfortunately pales in comparison with other rums in the XO category.

Ce Rhum Trois Rivières XO est un Rhum dominé du nez à la finale par les notes boisées et épicées. On sent clairement qu'on a affaire à de l'agriculture. En bouche il a une texture grasse agréable qui ne laisse pas indifférent.

Le nez me fait penser immanquablement à du melon au porto ! Surement l'influence des fûts de cognac. Surprenant pour un martiniquais. La bouche est plus classique. Plus herbacé et épicée. J'aime moins... Final moyenne dans la continuité de la bouche.

A rum tasted at Rhum Fest in 2024. The nose is woody, with an impression of barrels that aren't very clean, with vegetal notes and some fruit. On the palate, alas, the musty wood is more pronounced and takes much of the pleasure out of tasting it. A pity, since this rum also develops fine aromas and a certain sweetness.

Quite agricole to the nose, fresh and fruity, reasonably strong and interesting. Very easy to drink - pleasant and smooth - well integrated - but no strong feature for me. Not very long finish. In conclusion, worth a try and a sip - easy and pleasant

Aveugle Avent 2024: Un nez très bon bien classique agricole, fruits confits, un peu pâtissier. En bouche très décevant, âpre, trop épicé pour mois, amertume, un peu de bois. La longueur est moyenne à longue sur les épices que je n'apprécie pas beaucoup, et en toute fin une note de chocolat noir plus satisfaisante. Donc un rhum promett5au nez bien que classique, mais trop décevant en bouche.
