Foursquare Private Cask Selection (Berry Bros & Rudd)
Sip it neat and you get textbook Foursquare: roasted coconut, vanilla and toasted oak, dry rather than sugary, with the 55% well tucked in and easy to drink. A little chocolate and clove show up on the palate. Members rate it high and clean, but several also call it "nothing special" — a very good pour that doesn't surprise.

How does Foursquare Private Cask Selection (Berry Bros & Rudd) taste?
Aggregated from 13 community reviews.
Polished, dry coconut-and-oak Foursquare sipper Consensus is high-quality but low-drama — smooth, oak-and-coconut Foursquare done right. The common gripe: it's a touch too safe, missing a layer of complexity to truly excite.

Tasted briefly in a quick test. As usual with Foursquare, every bottling is of a high standard. There is nothing to complain about here. Personally, the bottling is a little too "boring" for me, which is whining at a high level. Unfortunately, this one doesn't really stand out. Solid, tasty easy sipper, a little more ABV probably wouldn't have hurt.

Nice and mild but definitely not sweet coconut cream diaru what we expect from FSQ .. Foursquare is a distiller from Barbados producing amazing rums for everyday drinking. It's a rum that will be appreciated especially by rums who are fed up with sugar and are looking for a smooth, sweet rum full of coconut, vanilla, chocolate and caramel. Just pleasant and not aggressive flavours.

Very good, high level, alcohol well integrated, lots of vanillin from oak barrel influence. At most, it lacks a little complexity.

Everything I would expect from a Foursquare. Very smooth, slightly sweet and quite vanilla/wood heavy. Some roasted coconut in there too. It’s really easy to drink but can’t find any further complexity/layers in this. Still it’s very pleasant to smell it from time to time and in general a high quality rum.
