Neat at 66% this hits hard — glue, olive brine and overripe, almost rotting tropical fruit pour out of the glass, with a wisp of smoke and a faint medicinal note underneath. The palate lands softer than the nose warns, oily and warm, with the alcohol surprisingly well tucked in. One taster catches strawberry and red fruit at the bottom. Loud, unaged Hampden with little to hide behind.

#4077 This is a fresh and intense yet well balanced release. Fruity with nice esters and a light roasted note. The palate is warm and oily and there is a very light medicinal note hidden in there. The empty glass reveals some copper and glue notes.

Vielen Dank für das Sample Ralf :). Unaged Rum kommt ja immer mehr in Mode, daher spannender Versuch damals von Velier. Geschmacklich schöner <>H aber mehr als 79 kann ich da einfach nicht geben.
