This is exactly how a fresh Savanna HERR should taste... pure and especially as a mixer absolutely top! Besides the esters, I just love this gummy bear flavor. Certainly not a rum for every day, but at the moment, with the weather in the daiquiri 🤩! Pure pleasure!

This was our second Savanna of the evening and I really liked this one. You're not in doubt that you have an Agricole with some nice ester exploding on your palate. There is also tomato in there and I'd go as far as saying it was Heinz 😂

Wow diese ungelagerten Savanna HERR sind ja schon echt klasse, vir allem wenn man sa PLV betrachtet. Hier lässt sich Ester erkennen, außerdem auch (tropische) Früchte, vor allem Ananas und Erdbeere. Echt lecker.

8,6:On the nose, esters, medicinal, grassy, fresh(tea) sugarcane, vegetal with tomatoes, slightly pungent, fermented pineapple, berries, strawberry, some candied fruits, balanced, bump into our nosetrils. On aeration, sugarcane is spicy with allspice, flowery, hay-ish, quite intense, malty, citrus fruits arise, some yoghurt. 8,6:On the palate, the attack is funky with esters, medicinal notes, fermented, rotten, pungent strawberry, tropical fruits like mango, pineapple, later citrus fruits, grassy sugarcane, vegetal with tomatoes, spicy with allspice, warm, hot, nutty, sweet with honey, brown sugar, pastry. 8,4:The finish is medium long, dry, sugarcane is vegetal with cucumber, tomatoes, fresh with tea, herbaceous, hay-ish, fruits are fermented, citrus, tropical with coconut, warm with spicy allspice, smoky, synthetic and medicinal with rubber..

Kleines Savanna Crosstasting mit den 57er Batches #2, #3 und #4 und dem 2023 Savanna Herr. Die Batches 2-4 sind für mich alle so ziemlich auf Augenhöhe und bringen sehr viel Frucht, Gummibärchen- und Kaugummi-Aromen mit. Der 2023er dagegen wirkt viel künstlicher/medizinischer/synthetischer, was mir hier überhaupt nicht gefällt.

An interesting agricole, it doesn't have the dominant earthy and licorice notes that I got from my previous experiences with this type. Instead it's quite fruity and also has a taste of grilled vegetables. There is also a very strong tomato note which I saw Kevin comment on. It is a bit quirky for me. Thanks Alex for sharing a sample with me.

An extremely expressive rum. Lots of esters, tropical fruit and a strong fermentation aroma. A real slap in the face! On the other hand, the palate is too biting, almost burning. Unbalanced rhul. Average rating for the moment, but could be upgraded to good (or even very good) if aeration calms the rum's fire.
