"Excellent takamaka, frankly, once it's well aerated, there's fruit, a little pepper and a hint of lychee. To sum up, my tasting notes: Nose: Alcoholic In the mouth: Fruity, Candied, Lychee, Peppery". For me, it's underrated!

A pretty elegant white rum for a 69%er. A bit of licorice/aniseed in taste. Rice wine. Not overly complex. A bit closed. But very drinkable.

Also für den Preis kann man nicht wirklich meckern. Aufgrund des ABV doch etwas alkoholisch in der Nase. Zitrusfrüchte sind auch erkennbar, außerdem leicht floral. Am Gaumen auch Zitrusfruchtlastig, außerdem etwas Zuckerrohr und Gras.

A good price-performance ratio. Too strong and somehow spicy on its own, so only a close 7. The fruity, citrusy aroma and taste predominate. Very tasty as a ti-punch. Can be recommended without hesitation as a starter.

The nose may be expressive, but on the palate the aromatic richness is much more interesting. The alcohol is not perfectly integrated but it is an interesting overproof.
