At 60.5% you'd expect a bruiser, but this cask-strength Foursquare drinks rounder than the number suggests. Pineapple and red berries lead, backed by vanilla, milk chocolate and warm spice from the bourbon cask. The wood turns assertive on the finish, and a few tasters found it borderline drying. A tidy 2011 vintage that some feel is classic Foursquare, others "Foursquare boredom."

#4609 10.02.2024 tasting event at the Nobilis Warehouse, Haderslev. Nose Wood, fruity, light roasted, pineapple, light caramel, berries, spice. Palate Wood, light roasted, fruity, pineapple, berries, spice, light chocolate, light ginger. Finish Long and warm, wood, light roasted, fruity, light cherry, light chocolate. A very good rum considering the price tag.

Sehr runder und leckerer jüngerer Foursquare. Intensive Noten sowohl an der Nase als auch im Geschmack nach Ananas, roten Beeren, etwas Ingwer, Zimt und Milchschokolade. Sehr harmonischer 2011er vintage, wenn auch im Abgang recht holzig.

Salon Du Rhum 2024 Just your regular Foursquare, but has some warmth to it. In the mouth I'm getting red fruits apart from your regular Foursquare palate.
