Don Q Puerto Rican Rum Gold
Reach for this if you want a neutral base for a daiquiri rather than something to sip and study. It's light and thin, with vanilla, buttery caramel and young oak, and the 40% alcohol still reads hot for the body behind it. Several tasters found the sweetness leans artificial and the palate watered-down. One member's verdict: a textbook standard daiquiri, nothing more.
The community says- Clean daiquiri base
- Artificial sweetness
- Thin, watery

The liquid History of Puerto Rico - vielen Dank an Artur für die Teilung!

5,6:On the nose, the first impression is a thin, alcoholic rum, but a bit fresh with citrus at first, with roasted wood notes becomes buttery, caramelized, yellow fruits and tobacco find a way out later. 6:On the palate, the attack is sweet, but light, diluted with burnt sugar, buttery caramel, vanilla and some coconut. 5,7:The finish is medium long, alcoholic, dry with wood spice, buttery with some caramel and faint coconut...

Dicker Respekt!

The liquid History of Puerto Rico Tasting Nr. 8 - Vanille, süß und junges Holz, im Gaumen etwas Gewürze und Kokosnuss. Keine sonderlich spannenden Aromen. Alkohol ist für seine nur 40% recht dominant.

1974er vintage don q. Qualitativ durchaus in Ordnung, Buttergebäck, Karamell, Vanille, leichte Eichenfass Töne.

Abgang kurz.
