There’s only way to describe this as the person who chose this bottling for the Netherlands said so - silly delicious! On the nose I get cloves and cinnamon strongly with a bit of a damp smell, my amateur palate would’ve confused this for a well aged rye just on the nose. The spicyness extends into the taste, lovely vanilla emerges and much more oakiness. Long finish, peppery notes give way to leather and perhaps tobacco. I could drink this every night with a cigar - one of my all time favorite drams.
