Expect heavy vanilla, caramel and a soft mango note, with a gingerbread-spiced side that reads as spiced rum to some tasters. Very sweet from the first sip, though a few find the barrel emerges once that sugar fades. Best with coffee and cake, or cola.

Strong candy-like nose, smells so artificial that it makes you think of Don Papa. But this is supposed to come only from the sherry cask. After all, the rum was stored in it for the entire 9 years. Very sweet

First sip will be sweet. After couple of minutes sweetness will lose dominance. Fruity and sweet, for 9 yo rum, you will hear barell and time spirits spent there. Very good for evening in good atmosphere of small talks. Drink to enjoy with no rush
