Fasssprache N. 10 Pear vs. N. 01 Basis Rum. Die 6 zusätzlichen Monate im new-make Birnen-Fass haben die Farbe um ganze 11 Stufen dunkler werden lassen. Nase: sehr viel komplexer und runder als die Basis. Intensiv fruchtig-würzig und angenehm holzig. Nicht mehr so betont alkoholisch, limettig und grob karamellig. Vielmehr finde ich eine dichte Ahornsirup-Süße mit Blutorange, Aprikose und etwas von Brombeeren. Dahinter noch Vanille. Gefällt mir sehr gut. 8,0 Gaumen: krasse Wandlung. Viel süßer, viel runder, viel kompakter. Süße von Honig und gebranntem Zucker. Würzig-fruchtig mit einer schönen salzig-lakritzigen Spitze, bevor ölig-süße Tonkabohne, Aprikose, Johannisbeere und Brioche dominieren. Die Basis ist fast nicht mehr zu erkennen. Aber sehr lecker ist er. 8,0.

Erstaunlich wenig Fasseinfluss, kein besonderer Geschmack, eher neutral. Hätte ich mir mehr erwartet.

Wagemut Fasssprache Projekt (Cask Strenght) Zu erwarten ist, dass für solch ein Projekt nicht der best-mögliche Rum verwendet wird. Der Basis Rum ist vergleichsweise spritig ohne besondere Ausprägung. 1.Flight: Base Rum / alle Oaks Interessant, wie sehr doch die Unterschiede bei einzelnen Eichen-Arten sind. Mizunara hat mich besonders überrascht. 2.Flight: Base Rum / Spezial Hölzer Wahnsinnig unterschiedlich, von schlecht zu gut war alles dabei. Besten Dank für dieses interessantes Projekt.

Wagemut Fasssprache, 16 mal der gleiche Basis-Rum in Fässern aus jeweils unterschiedlichem Holz gelagert. Sehr interessantes Projekt (danke an Flo für das Teilen). Die Nase gefällt mir, immer noch Zitrusfrüchte, aber eher in Richtung Orange.
