#4951 Whisky Live in Paris 27.09.2024-30.09.2024. Another great event meeting a lot of RumX new and old friends. This year three weren't as many new releases as in 2023, but I still had a great time. Nose Faint wood, light roasted, fruits, light solvent, light medicinal, nutts, light plum, dried fruit, faint anise. Palate Medium intense, light wood, fresh, fruity, dried fruit, faint cherry, faint coffee, light anise, dry. Finish Long and warm, wood, light roasted, berries, light coffee, raisin. Needs time to rest for the profile to open up properly.

The rums from the Savanna distillery are some of my favourites. I recommend everyone to try especially the higher ester pieces like Grand arome or HERR. You haven't felt so much fruit in a few little drops of liquid for a long time.

A positive surprise! Fully ripe sweet and sour pineapple & passion fruit, plus coffee, aniseed, olive brine and light roasted aromas. Quasi a grand aroma as an easy sipping rum. You can definitely do it, but of course it could do with a few % more, but it is very well balanced!

Notes taken at Rhum Fest 2024, Quick notes and a bit heavy palate, sorry :) A nice big aroma, but rather "wise". Silky & balanced.

Velmi ale velmi dobré. Překvapily mne parádní sladká chuť bonparů a to i při nijak vysokém ABV. Myslel jsem že budu hodnotit výrazzně hůře, ale plná chuť krásně integrovaný alkohol jemnost mi zde velmi sedí. Jsem opravdu mile překvapen.

For such a low abv rum very good. Suprisingly rich both in the nose and taste with tropical fruits, marshmallows and hints of sweet-soury olives. However I don't like the finish which seems to me salty-chemical-medicinal or something...
