Aged-agricole drinkers who want the grassy Marie-Galante style but leaning drier and woodier will find their bottle here. Four years in cask at 53.7% gives oak, allspice, raisin and prune, with pineapple and a touch of warm crushed cane underneath. One taster caught milk chocolate and raisin. Balanced and not over-oaked, though a few felt the finish falls a little short.

Dry, spiced cask-strength agricole with dried fruit Well-made cask-strength Marie-Galante agricole: spice, dried fruit and light oak in good balance. Most enjoyed it, but several found the short, slightly hollow finish keeps it from being memorable.
