Rhum Attitude Chairman‘s Reserve Master‘s Selection (Rhum Attitude) 2010
Anyone who loves the Foursquare/tropical-Diamond style will feel right at home here — this 13-year Saint Lucia leans column-still and bourbony rather than classic Chairman's. Expect coconut, vanilla, caramel and dried fruit with a little glue and roasted nuts. Several blind tasters swore it was a Foursquare. Harmonious and easygoing, though a few note the 61% alcohol isn't perfectly tucked in.

How does Rhum Attitude Chairman‘s Reserve Master‘s Selection (Rhum Attitude) 2010 taste?
Aggregated from 42 community reviews.
Bourbon-leaning coconut-caramel Saint Lucia Well-liked as a rounded, coconut-and-caramel Saint Lucia that drinks close to Foursquare. The recurring catch: it lacks the typical Chairman's esters, and the alcohol integration divides people.

Surprisingly weak, or rather not typical Lucia. Blindly, I would have guessed him to be a Foursquare. The typical esters are missing. However, overall round with nice tropical notes with coconut and chocolate.

8,7:On the nose, the first impression is typical of this distillery with coconut, glue, roasted wood and its notes like nuts, caramel, some spice with vanilla and other sweet spices. The fruits are dried at first with dried apricots, raisins, then citrus with lemon peel. On aeration, molasses is stronger and vegetal, the wood, coconut toasted, the fruits yellow bourbony and there is juicy orange. 8,7:On the palate, the attack is with bourbon notes ageing like yellow, citrus fruits like orange, roasted wood, dry, with caramel, sweet spices, vanilla, nuts. Then come the dried fruits with dried dates, raisins and citrus lemon peel. The fruits become candied, sweet, there is creme brulee, brown sugar. The molasses is herbal, waxy and a bit bitter, later minty. Some glue flows underneath...Balanced and tasty. 8,6:The finish is long, as the palate notes linger on for a while. In the end, we receive some smoke and tobacco. Edit:26.1.25, 0,1 higher...

In today's comparison, the two Chairman's bottlings of Rhum Attitüde from 2008 and 2010 were both exposed to a tropical climate for 13 years. My conclusion is relatively close, but the 2008 has the edge. However, both tend more towards the Foursquare profile than the typical Chairman's profile Blind tasting would certainly have led me on the wrong track

Unusual St. Lucia with column profile: coconut, raisin, caramel, spice, wood, vanilla glue. If you like Foursquare and tropical diamonds, you'll also like this one. The price is also okay - you can take it with you.

I wouldn't find Chairman in the scent, I'd rather guess some Mhoba. In the taste, anyway. Weirdly sweet, profile's more like Foursquare. As a blind rum, it's pretty good, but I expect a different experience from Chairman's Master. Disappointed

Not the kind of chairman I like very foursquare like. Very classic bourbon, coco, vanilla, note. It dries your mouth like the umeshu liqueur finish does with the plantation Fidji. The final is long though but there's a metallic note I don't enjoy.

Belle longueur, alcool très bien intégré. Simple mais bon. Et très bon prix. Hyper gourmand.

Very good, the profile reminds me of NewYarmouth 94.

Just a motorcade, I prefer kettles. But otherwise pretty smooth... I wouldn't buy a bottle

It's my second time trying this rum. First time I was not impressed, but today for some reasons I have lots of interesting things in the nose : caramel, fruits but also very fat grilled meat and gasoline. On the palate, I lose the gasoline and instead I have more classical aromas of coconut and vanilla, but grilled meat is still there. Medium-long on peppery coconut. This is more interesting than in my memories. Quality meets the price
