If you already know Savanna and want the softer side of the house, this 12-year molasses rum is worth a look. Despite the "traditionnel" label, several tasters find light ester and fruity-gummy notes creeping in, alongside plum, marzipan, light wood and a floral, faintly medicinal edge. Complex but a touch off-balance — the finish runs short and drying, and the 49% shows through more than the number suggests.

Le flacon est glamour. Ce rhum me fait bien voyager à la Réunion avec des odeurs et goût de cette île. On y retrouve des épices, du fruité le boisé exotique, du floral , la vanille fumée et du masse pain.une finale plutôt douce et florale avec un côté violette. Ce rhum traditionnel change des highs Esters assez prisé des amateurs de Savanna.

#4899 Whisky Live in Paris 27.09.2024-30.09.2024. Another great event meeting a lot of RumX new and old friends. This year three weren't as many new releases as in 2023, but I still had a great time. Nose Fresh, light wood, faint smoke, light marzipan, plum, light pear, faint floral. Palate Round, light wood, faint roasted, light plum, faint marzipan, light floral, faint pineapple, light vegetal. Finish Medium long, light wood, medium dry, light spicy, fruits, light pineapple, faint tobacco. Pretty nice bottling but nothing spectacular.

I like it very much! I don't really believe in traditional. It tastes more like a Grand Arome with nice fruity gummy bear/high ester notes. Beautifully complex!

Překvapení, netradiční ale o to plnější chuť. Madicinální a ořískové tóny, těžké koření. Tohle je rum na celovečerní pití.

Much nicer than the 10-year-old. A fruity, mineral nose. On the palate, the minerality fades a little. Pepper and ginger appear. My main complaint is the finish: short and tannic, you can't really feel anything... Too bad, otherwise it would have been very good!

Gefällt mir deutlich weniger im Vergleich zum 43%igen st. Eloi. Dieser hier ist mehr auf der pflanzlichen Seite und weniger fruchtig, wirkt auch eher verwässert und ist recht adstringierend, säuerlich und unausbalanciert im Abgang....

Rumy z destilerie Savanna jsou jedny z mych nejoblibenejsich. Doporucuji kazdemu vyzkouset zejmena vuce esterove kousky jako je Grand arome nebo HERR. Tolik ovoce v nekolika malo kapkach tekutiny jste dlouho necitili.
